Our Story – How AutoRay’s Mobile Repair Got Started

AutoRay’s Mobile Repair was born out of a simple idea: car trouble shouldn’t put your life on hold.

After graduating from auto mechanics school, founder Ray Bowen, a seasoned mechanic with over a decade of hands-on experience in local repair shops, saw how inconvenient it was for customers to arrange drop-offs, wait for callbacks, and rearrange their entire day around a simple repair.

After helping friends and neighbors with at-home car issues during weekends, Ray realized something powerful—people needed reliable auto repair that comes to them. With just a toolbox, a reliable van, and a passion for solving problems, AutoRay’s Mobile Repair hit the road.
